ITV Chart Show - Indie Chart (28th September 1991)

I remembered seeing this chart as a teenager and the number 1 song appeared written HOLE - Teenage ... It was probably the first time I've ever heard a woman screaming in a song. My first thoughts was what a load of noise and then my second thoughts was why did the chart show call it "Teenage ..."

I predicted the song might have been called Teenage Shit or Teenage Fuck or something like that. At the end, although it took me a year to find out (years before the internet was in peoples homes !!!), the song was called "Teenage Whore". I thought "ohh, its not that bad", but then I realise this show was shown on a Saturday morning, where kids would watch. Can you imagine, little tommy asking mummy what is a whore !!!!
