THE CHART SHOW - Indie Chart (12th September 1986)

This is the only time I have seen a basic rundown of a chart, without the REWIND, FORWARD, let alone PLAY display. Why they only did a rundown, is a billion pound question. I persume the chart show may have been given so many exclusive music videos by record companies, that they really didn't have time to play a normal indie chart.

Also they certainly had plenty of videos in the chart to play. Although there was only 2 videos they could play, because they were non-movers. The rest either were going down or didn't have any videos.

I wished this basic rundown was used in the last years of the chart show, when most of the times they had to shorten their programmes, due to Formula 1 racing taking place on the same channel.
