The Chart Show - Dance Chart (1st November 1997)
1997 was the year when Speed Garage music started to appear more on the Dance Chart. But there was also other cheesy acts that weren't speed garage who had big hits on the dance and nationals. Amongst them was N-Trance, who in the early days produced rave music, but then later on used cheesy samples from the 1970's to make pretty awful records to be honest. They had the rapping vocals of Ricardo da Force, who was formerly the rapper with the KLF. He himself tried to forge a solo career, but that fell flat like a pancake !!!!
N-Trance still makes music, but more of a trance type, rather than cheesy samples from the 70's or 80's.
